In order to avoid end blanks in printed issues for publication, one or more general promotion advertisements by Brill Marketing shall be inserted where end blanks would occur. Except after the Volume Contents in a last issue of a volume - this section is to end with its last printed page or (an) end blank(s).  

A new bunch of such filler ads is made available as of 15 March 2023, on:

Size: POD standard (155 x 235 mm paper trim size). A duplicate set for use in print journals sized at 170 x 245 mm and larger is to follow made available on 23 March - large ads shall be placed centered horizontally and vertically on the page.

Please note this is not about paid or exchange advertisements. The above are filler ads which can be used if needed; not for compelled inclusion. In case the total number of pages in an issue is divisible by 4, the final PDF of the issue will be fine without any such promo, e.g., 124. (One or more filler ads are needed in case of e.g., 121, 122 or 123 pages.) The total number of pages may change on the fly in some circumstances, such as unforeseen text run in the last contribution, an erratum or obituary squeezed in last minute, et cetera, as per the responsible Production Editor (PE). 

Filler ads shall be used in the above order, 1 and 2 of which in the first place. After a frequent use of 1 and 2, in two or more consecutive fascicules, the other ads in the given order of importance apply.
