The number of (abstract) Unicode characters supported by the current version 4.0 of the ‘Brill’ fonts is huge. The number of glyphs (visible character forms, including small caps, superiors and the like) is even larger: about 6,100 per font, for a total of about 24,500. Finding one’s way beyond the characters visible on a hardware computer keyboard can be a pain. The complete Character List is meant to remedy this: as its name implies, this PDF document lists all characters in visible form, and any character can be copied from it and pasted into any text application on all current computer systems that support the Unicode Standard (i.e., MS Windows PCs, Macs, Linux machines, iOS and Android devices). Assuming the Brill fonts are installed on the device in question, the characters will be rendered flawlessly.

Note that the left-hand column of the list displays the Unicode hexadecimal value of any given character. You can use such codes to input characters: see Using Unicode hexadecimal codes.
