AutoBTS is a publishing platform derived from the NESTOR workflow that was developed within V&R. It starts with applying pre-defined Word styles to a manuscript. After completion, the styled-manuscript is loaded together with metadata and illustrations onto a conversion platform where it is converted into xml, after which necessary output formats such as print PDF, webready package, ePUB, etc. can be generated. The conversion platform is developed by the company le-tex and built in Tech. Further documentation concerning the AutoBTS workflow and platform can be found on the following pages.
