The entry form consists of a number of fields with content, such as title, main text and bibliography, and fields with special functionality (f.e. sort title) or administrative purposes. Main parts are described hereafter in order of appearance.

ID | Each entry must have an ID. When adding a new entry, an ID is generated automatically. The ID is used in the filename and in references. It cannot be changed afterward (due to its possible usage in links). |
Prelim | Option top indicate that an entry is part of the preliminary materials of a title. Entries marked with prelim=yes are not included in search results. |
Full title | a text representation of the title of the entry. |
Title | Obligatory. The title of the entry can be edited with the CK editor. A selected set of editing options is available. |
Authors | Listing of the authors of the entry. Authors can be removed or added. The column "Consent to publish form in" is for administrative purposes only and can be used to indicate that the author submitted a Consent to Publish form. |
Wordcount text | Number of words in the main text field, without and with footnotes. |

Maintext | Main text of the entry. The text can be edited with the CK editor. Available options depend on the needs of the publication. Dedicated options to use right-to-left script can for example be turned off. |
Subject | Option to select values from so-called maintainable lists. These lists can be defined and edited by the project manager. Values from the list can be assigned to the entry by dragging it from right to left or clicking a value in the right column. Clicking the value in the left column removes the value. |

Print export
| Details of the latest export of the entry for print purposes. If required, page information can be added as soon as the printed volume is available. Volume number and date are filled in after the export is generated. |
First published online Last updated online | Date information for the online publication. The last updated online date is filled in automatically when the entry is exported for online. |
Editorial Comments | Free text field to enter information for other CMS users. |
Attachments | Option to attach external files, for example a Word file with the original text of the entry. |
