Welcome to De Gruyter Brill! We're excited to have you on board. Setting up your laptop is an important first step to getting started with your work. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get your laptop set up:
- Power On: locate the power button on your laptop and turn it on.
- Setup your Windows device: Scan below QR-code with the camera from your mobile phone for instruction.
- Setup Windows Hello: Scan below QR-code with the camera from your mobile phone for instruction.
- Setup Applications: Depending on your function / role within De Gruyter Brill, there may be specific software available for you which you can install via the Company Portal.
Open Edge internet browser and browse to: https://connect.brill.com → Use the search bar, type in “Company portal for installing software” - Setup Printing: If you want to make use of printing in the office(s) you need to follow this instruction on your laptop:
Open Edge internet browser and browse to: https://connect.brill.com → Use the search bar, type in Papercut “Papercut cloud printing” à Click on the button in which office you are working.
