Preferred style
In all-Russian publications, either whole articles or complete monographs, the traditional Russian quotation marks should be used. They are: «…», «ёлочки», used without any space around the word(s) in question. The second-order quotation marks, for quotations inside quotations, are: „…“, «лапки». Example: «„Цыганы“ мои не продаются вовсе», — сетовал Пушкин.
